What color is the roof? Is there brick or stone anywhere?

Thanks for responding. The roof is black and the front porch, side paths and back porch are recycled red brick with light gray mortar. It's hard to see the brick behind the white wrought iron, but it's there. We would like the house to look more modern or retro modern while still fitting in with the other homes. We also plan to landscape and would like the greenery to look nice against our home, something that doesn't happen with the current color. We are open to any and all suggestions to improve the exterior!

I say go dark charcoal gray.....and leave the brick as an accent color....

timglidden, are you suggesting replacing the white wrought iron with cedar? I do think the porch is one the house's weaker features.

I didn't realize that was wrought iron.....I would....maybe the railings and the posts all with cedar?

I was wrong! The railings are painted wood. I can't believe I've lived in this house for over 10 years and didn't know that.
