What to do with this wall with light spots?

In my livingroom I wanted something more then a floor lamp. I wanted something special. So I installed 4 spots which lightend up the wall. I also have dimmer so I can adjust the brightness in the evening. I really like the effect, but I'm dazzled what to do further with the wall? A canvas would undermine the effect. I also would like to make it darker beige. Not sure if its going to look nice then?

Why not try something with a 3d effect?

Four art prints below the lights would be lovely. Or, make the whole wall an art piece with a modular wall unit.

I like the idea of just installing cool texture panels (like above) and paint them. Warm, neutral color.

If you find these panels are too expensive (I do love them), you could find a wallpaper with texture that you could paint. Then easily change the color any time.

I think the texture would be a bit too much for me. But a wallpaper with texture is a great alternative! Thanks!

In addition to your dimmer switch, you can change pattern and color affect given off by your recessed lighting simply by changing housing and the trim covers... especially in your case having 4 lights in close vicinity, you can stagger the lights covers with a "wall wash trim" to create a real nice look and feel.

I agree with the wall washer trim kit. It will control the light effect washing the wall. The lights are in close vicinity. That said, I suggest using a textured wallcovering, maybe the modern version of grasscloth or a linen look. The color/hue should be darker than the walls by 50 percent.
