Silhouette or Nantucket shades would look great in your space. A lot of people think they are formal, but today they make them in so many textures that they don't look "formal" anymore. I would use the ones that have the 3" vane as you would be able to see more when the vane is in the open position. If you are not familiar with these shades, they have a soft sheer vane that tilts in the down position, but also completely roll up out of the way to secure your view. Hope this helps you out!

Thanks for the suggestions. I appreciate it. Having had experience with Duettes, honeycomb shades, wooden blinds, and mini blinds over the last 20 years, I would prefer something simpler and easier to keep clean. I think either roller shades or wovens would suit me better. I'm wondering about color and also if I should just do treatments on the lower windows and leave the top ones without. What do you think?

If the heat isn't bothering you then you are just as we'll to leave them open. The Illusions are flat with no pockets for bugs and dust to get in. They are 100% polyester and can be cleaned with the soft nozzle attachment on your vacuum. They can also be spot cleaned dabbing with a mild clear soap. They are a very versitile roller blind.
