We'd like to renovate our baths in our country house, but the rusty water (unlikely to improve) makes toilets, sinks, tubs, etc. look dirty. Are there design suggestions for colored fixtures, i.e. brown, that wouldn't look terribly 70s and could somehow look elegant and upscale?
