Need display items....

Hi guys....I need ideas on what to put inside these cabinets...I would like to display some figurines....plants...or anything ..my colors are teal,yellow,grey,white....I will also be installing some led lights inside or lights on top.thanks

Hello dorky0421,

Books, books, books! They add texture and warmth and color. Think also about either small sculptures or collections of items that you may have. Plates always work, as do colored glass pieces. Pitchers or framed pieces of small art of photographs. You might even think about either painting or papering the back. Take a look at a few Houzz photos for inspiration:

Get some colorful bowls in your accent colors. As big as possible. Shelves can start to look busy if there's too much small stuff on them.

Do you have a Home Goods nearby? Great for interesting pieces at good prices! Think larger and less to avoid clutter and alternate "sides" of shelving for more visual interest. Groupings usually work better in odd numbers often times in 3s. Have fun :)!

Yes we do have home goods. I don't like small stuffs..it will make my display cabinets cluttery..

The shelves look like they have small niches...if they are in fact adjustable shelves...I agree that you can use books...and photographs in interesting picture frames. Low profile boxes...use these items in groupings. There is also another look that is shown in pottery barn and places like this...where they line up three of the same items....and it is a very clean uncluttered idea!

Thank you ..I'd like to know what kind of pieces to buy...I can shop ikea..target...even walmart to decorate the inside of the glass cabinets..my colors are grey..teal..yellow...white..silver....I am also planning to install lights inside the cabinets to showcase my displays..
