We decided to use concrete for our two small patios, it was poured 4weeks ago . Our desire was and still is to have the simple beauty of the natural gray concrete.Unfortunately, the staining process ( re-stained twice already) has led to very poor results. The contractor is claiming he does not see the problems.
We are investigating for possibilities different from complete tearing off the concrete and re-pouring a new slab. A local concrete company advised us against Concrete overlay - they feel the local weather with frequent freezing and thawing in the short winter will be a problem.
