we have had pella Windows in our house since we moved here in the 1980's, and have been replacing them over the past few years with the same company. definitely go with vinyl. we have found pella to be a very good decision.

I didn't go with Pella, but will say that cladding on the exterior and primed wood on the interior was an excellent choice -- might have even been better if it were clad on both sides. I had double-hung windows & went for the tip & tilt and am completely in love -- no more climbing ladders to clean the interior and exteriors of windows, which ROCKS.

Pella windows are very nice...a little pricey but I do like them
