We just purchased a Tudor Revival home built in the mid 70s and later remodeled to mostly all white. The dark wood has all been painted white. I originally fought the dark wood idea as I grew up with it everywhere, but all research and original design found in unpainted closets points to a walnut type color & I want to honor that, but with a bit of flair. I have always loved Victorian and King Louis mouldings and decor so a tudor with gothic flair or Mediterranean appeals to me. I'm having trouble deciding how to honor the home, my tastes, & increase resale value. I realize restoring it and my flair is not vanilla and won't soak to a lot of buyers. I'm ok with that. So in the end ideas& photos of what to do in each respective room shown will help. Especially the living room, kitchen, master exposed-in room vanity, the terrible avacado and seafoam bathroom, & the needs love covered back patio.
