1. Trying to make a "bright mantle" with movement/interest - what I've done (see pic) doesn't feel right. Don't want it to be overcrowded, cluttered, tacky etc.

2. I have 2 framed prints I would like to hang to the left of the mantle - 2 questions there
a. Is there too much going on the mantle to hang prints next to it? b. Does the placement look OK?

Also attached pics of other things in the room for context. Other planned changes - replace curtains with faux roman shades, paint fireplace brick, paint black mirror frame a bronzey metallic to match tables & fixture (not pictured)
