Ahh pillows, every woman's guilty pleasure and the bane of a mans existence. Personally I don't think those are working. Your room could use a bit of color though and larger accent pieces.

The key here is:

Texture, texture, texture the room is really in need of some tactile, feely touchy elements. Note that if you do add color continue by adding some complimentary accessories.

In the last image I posted see how texture is integrated with the pillows, throw and accessories. Also note how the subtle green tones are pulled through the room.
