best edge for honed caesarstone?

I think the caesarstone honed pebble gray looks like cement which is very cool for a small NYC apartment. Can someone recommend the best edge to achieve this look? Simple eased?

Definitely - a simple eased edge will look great. I love Ceasarstone - especially the honed finish - great choice!

Thanks! since I wrote this I've started to worry about ceasarstone a bit. The wall color in the apt. is ben moore pelican gray 1612 and the pebble gray is very similar. Also a 30 year old will be living in the apt and she will keep it clean but I don't want her and friends to *worry* about stains. Maybe black cambrian antiqued granite is better? (I'm really looking for a charcoal gray look). Thanks again for your help!

Or honed absolute black? Which might be more "gray" - cambrian antique or absolute black honed?

Honed anything is much higher maintenence. It's texture traps oils and dirt more easily, making for more frequent cleaning, or frustration. I would choose polished instead, with a simple eased edge or 3/8" roundover.

I really like a honed look and I also like a cement look. Its odd to me that casarstone cement color doesn't come honed, since cement is a honed look. I also think the pebble gray (the only casarstone that comes honed) has a mottled look that might hide *imperfections* in cleaning, hand prints, etc. attached are photos of area in question. The countertop will extend 16" outside of kitchen and 3" on side. The tile backsplash will be replaced with drywall painted ben moore rock gray 1615 and the foyer will be painted fire and ice 1392. I don't have a photo to show how "long" the room is - 19'3"x11'10" !!! Thanks so much for advice.

Does anyone have a preference between cambrian black honed granite vs. cambrian black antiqued granite? Thanks, in advance.

Here are some tips for choosing your countertop edges:

As far as honed or antiqued, keep in mind that those styles will require a bit more maintenance than polished. I would suggest Antiqued because it closes the pores of the stone better than a honed finish, which will prevent staining.

The edge detail reflects the style...and I am not sure of your style...modern or traditional ?

Totally appreciate where you are coming from! But I actually like a subtle mix of traditional and contemporary. That is, I love the details, flourishes and patterns of traditional but I'm definitely moving toward the clean, spacious lines of contemporary. Problem is apartments in new york tend to be actually tasteless (all IKEA) contemporary, so SOME traditional details (like woodwork!) are important. I think I've settled on traditional woodwork and eased edge on the countertop.
