Help for a long master bath

We're remodeling our 1977 contemporary but following a major kitchen reno, we don't want to make major structural changes upstairs. Our master bath is a narrow "hall" with a vanity at the end, and a tub, toilet and skylight behind a pocket door to the left. We plan to keep the vanity where it is, but the long "hall" leading to the vanity begs for efficient use (storage preferably). Any ideas? The space measured from the vanity toe kick is 73" x48". Thanks for any help you can give!

I should clarify, we have already stripped the shag carpet out and will replace the area around the tub/toilet with tile. Not sure about our flooring for the "hall"

Hi---I agree with hayleydaniels above---that's the easiest/least expensive solution. You might be able to go between the studs on the right wall---and make niches for storage.
I must add, I am not a fan of this setup, as I would enclose this space and add a door. Hope this is helpful. Good Luck!

I don't think you have enough room there to put in any permanent storage units as it's just too narrow. Maybe find a small shelving unit you can put baskets in for storage, but can be moved if need be.

One other thing I forgot to add. You don't want to leave enough room that you could get a wheelchair or gurney in there if need be. I posted that on another discussion yesterday, and the OP thought it was a hoot, but you'd be amazed at how many homes the fire department can barely get in to load a person on a gurney to transport them to the hospital when they call 911. And no one knows when they're going to need such services.

Thanks for the comments. I'm not able to enclose it since there's another narrow hall perpendicular to the bath "hall" in the above photos with closets. This hall curves around past a deck and opens back up into a loft. It's a cool setup but small (the whole house is a modest 1500 sq. ft.)

Regrettably, no. We decided to start with the downstairs (kitchen area).

We do plan to remove the pocket door and wall to the left (there's a small closet on the other side) so the tub/toilet area doesn't feel so claustrophobic.
