Oh, I know what you are going through - there are SO many shades of white! I recently chose the white color for my kitchen cabinets by having Home Depot custom mix the color of a cabinet door sample from their custom kitchen department. It was a kitchen they had on display, and I noticed that the white was not too yellow, not too tan, not too white. The cabinets were Thomasville and I figured they must know what they're doing when they choose colors that people will like. Also, no matter what, you have to coordinate it with whatever else is in the room (in your case, your kitchen cabinets). I got a sample first, then painted it on a board and set it in the room to see the color in the light of MY room - morning, noon and night. That is the only way to finalize your decision about paint color. Hope this helps
