We are redoing the kitchen. Have had two contractors say that they only recommend having drawers (varying sizes) on lower cabinetry and to leave the upper cabinets with doors. Functionally I love the idea and had been talking with them re: putting slide-out shelving within some of the lower cabinets (with doors). But from a design perspective I'm nervous about how that will look to have all drawers. Especially since I have two areas with four cabinet doors next to each other. Am thinking that I should leave some of the areas with cabinet doors using the interior slide out shelving. It seems like it would be more visually interesting if it was varied between drawers and cabinets with doors. Any thoughts?
