My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Over fireplace drop down TV mount

We couldn't find a mount that would drop down so we could view TV at a normal level...until now. We bought the dynamic mount and installed in a few hrs. It works great and we love it! No more neck strain!

      what about when you turn the fireplace on ?
      Heat will rise and damage your TV yes or no ?

      Genevieve...we don't use the fireplace when it's down...for that reason. Plus, we maybe use our fireplace twice a yr....but we watch TV everyday! So, it was an easy trade-off.

      Calla...I mounted the receiver behind the television...we have a wireless receiver from ATT...so no cables from the wall...the receiver just plugs into the wall outlet...which you can see a bit of in the picture.

      I guess that's one solution. For me, I opted for another location than above the fireplace. I like having a fire nearly every evening during the winter months & don't want to have to opt for one or the other.

      Just my preference.
