I love this idea for my patio...What type of adhesive was used to join the cinder blocks?

Better yet...how is the dirt contained - cinder blocks don't have bottoms.....

Hi Kat! We didn't read. :-) The adhesive is "block adhesive" and "mesh screening" is glued to the bottom. I love it!

You are correct! I wonder how she deals with the squirrels....they dig everything up, looking for bugs and burying stuff.....I like the little buggers...but they are frustratingly smart....I've about turned the yard over to them in surrender.

What a creative way to use concrete block as a privacy wall. I, too, will use this in my yard.

I used a Concrete Block Adhesive to hold it together. I found it at Home Depot in the glue section. Hope that helps.

There are similar wall planters here that are very easy to assemble.
