Reupholstered chairs

I LOVE THIS ROOM! You mentioned that you used their existing chairs. I have an entire Queen Anne dining room suite that was a gift from my parents for my wedding 17 years ago. I simply cannot just throw it all out but I want my dining room to be modern like this one. Are you able to work with any style to possibly create more modern pieces? I live in Atlanta so I'm very interested in your firm's services. Thanks!

You can absolutely do the same thing. Reupholster the side chairs, add a funky upholstered host chair and you can create something with a similar concept.

The upholstery company I use only works w the Trade. I've only been in the area a short time, so I can't make a personal recommendation. Check Angie's List.

I saw a table like it, from Pottery Barn. Also to update a look. Adding big wing back chairs to ends, then a contrasting color add side chairs. Doing the seats in a solid and back in a pattern works too. Anyone can do it. Easy job for DIY.

Noticed how they kept it to 3 colors. Black being primary color. Don't be afraid to go dark on walls.

especially if you have windows like that with reflective surfaces ie the mirror and side board. its a lot of natural light. and the invisible wall pattern keeps it interesting and reflective.
