I know this comment is late, but maybe it will help someone— If you are planning to do food prep in there (such as using toasters, coffee makers, chopping onions, etc.), I would highly recommend installing quality ventilation. A friend recently completed a beautiful custom-built home that includes a butlers pantry. Her only regret? She didn’t install ventilation in this space.
