I am finalizing colors / paint for the basement. Elsewhere the painter used the make and type of paint he preferred, but now we are free from the contractor he is doing the basement. I had hoped to use Behr eggshell finish as this paint gave us a super finish before, especially very responsive to the sunlight that came in at certain times of day... I don't see this result with the paint he used upstairs. Any advice on choosing paint makes / finishes to get a nice result ?
