Did you find a solution to what you were trying to do with your flagstone? I too, am wanting to change the color of my flagstone patio

I'm curious to know if anyone has been successful with changing the color. We bought an older home with the original flagstone in the entry way. I like the stone, but the colors look out of date and ugly. I'd love to maybe whitewash the stone or even paint it a lighter ashy gray. Aside from that, I know removing it will be a huge project to tackle myself and with all of the other updates we are doing, it's just not in the budget to have it done by a professional.

I did succesfully paint our exterior window sill. Clean, prime with tile primer, paint.
You could also carefully remove the orange stones (hammer and chisel) and use self-leveling concrete to fill up the hole (and paint with concrete paint). Not a job for the faint-hearted though.
