I'm trying to decide between keeping this round table and adding a two stool bar where the current wall is so the kids can help me in the kitchen; or to just take the entire wall down and replace the round table with a long rectangular one with a leaf. This is the only dining area in the house and there's not much room to seat guests with the round table option/bar taking up floor space. You can see where the table is almost running into the sofa in the living room as it it is now.

Any advice appreciated!

I have a three year old and another baby due in a few weeks.
