We are revitalizing a beautiful but tired looking mountain home. It will be pressure cleaned prior to staining. Will the pressure cleaning remove the dark discoloration from the sun & bring the natural color back so we can stain it light and bright?

Hello, Those are all good questions. Without knowing what wood have it is difficult to say for sure. However, if you used cedar like the siding in this image, the wood should cleanup close to the original color. You will want to be careful about how strong the pressure is as you can remove a lot more of the wood than you might want. I would think you want to leave as much wood as possible, but remove enough discoloration to get your desired effect. Good luck!
