When had silestone installed and had the same issue. They came back and fixed it but a few days later I noticed a hairline crack that they must have done when they lifted the counter. They remain the whole piece and took out the old one and installed the new one. When I Asked what would happen with the old piece he said it would probably be thrown out. I'm asked if I could keep it they said sure. My handy husband is going to install it in the bathroom. My point is that although there were issues they stood behind their product and service.
