Combining patterns?

I currently have two of the floral chairs. Thinking of adding the blue rug. Chairs would not sit on rug, but would be in the same space. House under renovation so I can show room. Rug currently on sale so i am thinking of buying it now. I will have a white ektorp love seat in the room. I am thinking of adding orange accent pieces to break up the navy & white. Thoughts?
