My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

rustic timber

I want to use a rustic timber piece for my fireplace mantle. Where should I look to fin one? Any suggestions?

      Check you local area for salvaged or reclaimed timbers. There are several online sources, but freight charges may be prohibitive.

      There are many suppliers for old wood. Carlsons barnwood as a national supplier has very good prices but varying quality. Blacks farmwood in bay area has consistently high quality but higher prices. Look on Craigs list for people in your area. Or type reclaimed wood in google maps in your area.

      The sink is a new Kohler sink.

      The sink is the Kohler Brockway sink. it comes in 30" 48" and 60" the faucet is also a Kohler faucet. :)
