need help with outdoor fireplace with oven.

have been searching high and low for plans to build fireplace with oven on top. see many pictures, but nothing that describes the proper process for dimensions of fireplace and oven and how to place chimney. have 5x 8 ft x 6 in slab ready. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The Rumford style fireplace is a very efficient and a low-emissions approach to open fireplaces. We built such a fireplace in the Vermont Ski Barn project. Here is a website that offer plans for many applications including an oven over the fireplace. http://www.rumford.com/oven/ovenabove.html
