which side of the kitchen are you using the pendant?

In the middle. I thought about putting up 4 to cover the length of the kitchen, but don't know what size to use. I currently have track lighting on each side, but doesn't put out the amount of light I need. thanks for responding.

You just don't have the right bulbs and track . As for the 100 watt regular bulbs they will soon be gone as they already are in canada. If you used a single track system with 50 watt halogen or 7 watt LEDs and 10 or 12 heads you would have lots of light.

I don't like track lighting, thus the reason for the pendant lights. If they take 100 watt bulbs, then I could get those in the new bulbs, which I hate also. LOL. I just want to know if the 7.5" globe over the bulb will force the light straight down, and if the larger 15" globes spread out the lighting more. Placement of the lights and size of the light shades (globes) is what I'm most concerned about. Hope this makes sense. Sorry, I just don't know any other way to word it!
