I'm updating my master bedroom and the first thing I did was paint it a nice, deep, bold gray. I love the colour. (Unfortunately, it's so dark that my phone can't pick it up.)

The only problem is that one I got the new paint up, I realized how awful my furniture is and how lame my decor was. (Sort of a pseudo-oriental theme made out of free cast-offs IT MADE SENSE AT THE TIME OKAY?) Anyway, all that stuff is gone (to be sold) and it's a blank slate in there. Turns out to be a really expensive paint job, with new furniture, art, bedding, everything else.

The existing bed frame is a metal tube sleigh bed. I've been looking around for replacement frames and found this one. It's got lighting and storage in the headboard, which means I wouldn't have to get a bedside lamp or nightstands. I haven't had a headboard in years.

It's just me in there, so there's nobody else I have to get approval from. I think it's pretty cool but I've made some bad choices. It might also be that after seeing nothing but hideously expensive garbage everywhere, this might just be one that's a little nicer.
