Your cabinet doors are going to have a lot of grain color variation since the sample says the door is hickory. You may want a calm looking floor to balance out the busy hickory coloring.

Maple wood turns naturally yellow-gold underneath whatever stain you put on it and tends to be one color. Most walnut has a grayish tone but some species of walnut have a warmer tone. Walnut can be busy looking or calm depending on the particular species.

It's hard to tell from your picture what underlying color tone is for the cabinet door. The underlying tone of your cabinets will help you decide which floor to pick.

Hickory cabinets could look fine with either wood but that depends on everything from underlying color tones to board widths (the size of the floor boards affect their appearance).

I think the flooring on the top in the photo complements the cabinet best. Either will work though as each has the tone of the cabinet color.

Hi---I agree with Darzy---I also like the variance in color and wood grain of that flooring paired with the cabinetry. Be wise when selecting your countertop, backsplash, and wall color, as the cabinets are quite dark and should possibly be the darkest value in the room. Hope this is helpful. Good Luck!
