We are doing a bathroom renovation and will have an L shaped vanity area. I will be on the longer wall and my hubby will have his sink area the flanking shorter wall (walk in with his vanity immediately on your left). we plan to have task lighting on the sides of each sink area (there will also be an overhead light and a skylight). I would fell in love with some beautiful mini crystal chandelier pendants, but husband would prefer to have sconces. would it be a crime to have different lights but in the same material (chrome and crystal). Would that work, or do our lights have match? The challenge is you enter room on his side and he thinks seeing pendants on your flank would be a distraction. Other concern is that lights need to appropriate height for tasks so I would want my lights lower than where he would want his sconces (I'm 5'2 and he is 6'3). Need help soonest. thanks!
