The bathrooms can be completly dufferent from the kitchen in cabinet style and counter material I like poder rooms to have some connection to the main space but bathrooms connected to bedrooms or in the private part of the house can work off the rooms they are connected to,

There is no need to match. Interesting - I don't think I have ever seen them match. I think it is wise to keep tones and style consistent through a home but not exact matches.
