This fireplace is powered by bio ethanol fuel.

Bio Ethanol, otherwise known as denatured alcohol, is a renewable energy source made by fermenting components of plant by-products. It is made from corn, potatoes, rice and several other crops.

When ethanol is burned, it produces beautiful and lively orange flames that lick the air with grace. Because it burns clean, you don't have to worry about the hassle of a chimney, flue or vent. Simply fill and light!

When you burn bio ethanol, it produces just three things: water vapor (steam), heat and carbon dioxide (co2). The carbon dioxide emitted by ethanol is absorbed by plants. Through photosynthesis it is processed and helps the plant grow.

These fireplaces aren't really intended for use as a primary heat source, but are nice aesthetically and will certainly be a supplemental heat source.
