Everyone I know with a double kitchen sink wishes for larger single. I went for a large single and am really happy

Double sinks, every time.

I don't like dirty anything near any of my food... single sink or double sink. I've had a double, but the left side was very large/deep and the right was small, perfect for resting the colander in without it touching the bottom of the sink. Which I also liked when draining pasta. I don't care how clean my sink is I don't want my pasta filled colander floating in sink water while draining. lol :) Good luck on your quest for the perfect sink! :)

I just put in a large one bowl sink that has a grate covering the entire bottom. I can wash an entire sheet pan or roasting pan completely flat or I can have some dishes sitting to the side & wash others, or have a colander of pasta draining without sitting in the sink water. Love it!!

When we remodeled our kitchen, we put in a large deep single sink. We are very happy with it and never want to go back to double sink again.
