We have a large upstairs landing with a bay window are adding a window nook with an 11 foot upholstered bench seating and built in bookshelf with custom cabinetry. The walls are white with grey trim and grey wainscoting with golden oak flooring. Need a carpet for heavy traffic area with kids who spill stuff. Am thinking of this pattern but not sure whether to go with Navy, Golden beige or Grey as the palette. Stairs need to work with the living room which is navy, beige and coral, as well as the upstairs landing. Our style is quite preppy - think Home Goods or One Kings Lane. Looking for carpet runner advice (carpet will continue on the landing) and fabric for the bench and curtain.
