This is our very outdated kitchen. We are looking at doing some low budget updates in stages. The doors are going to be skinned and then we will be painting. The only thing I am set on is subway tile black splash. The cabinets will be painted but I do not want white like they are. Even if it is only a moderate color change. We are just sick of the white white. We have more of a modern taste. So we were thinking maybe a transitional style. I do want to do something different with the soffits. We will definitely going with a laminate countertop due to budget. Any suggestions would be appreciated! :)
