When Nat bought his condo in Redmond, Washington, the kitchen was enclosed in a room that cut it off from the rest of the space including the dining room. This created a look that resembled a ship’s galley built in the 1980s. He wanted to give the condo a personal and unique touch and also create an open feel that would allow guests to interact more easily in the space.

Nat demolished the wall that separated the kitchen from the rest of the space, added new cabinets, designed and installed a custom backsplash, and created a beautiful island with a granite countertop where the wall once stood.
