Yes, I would put your TV on the big wall and your "cat palace" in the corner where the TV is. If you put your TV on the wide wall, can you put your couch on the opposite wall? That way you would have room for an easy chair by the windows.

The opposite wall is not as wide , as the blank wall... If I put the couch in the middle of the room then I feel like I would have an awkward space where the windows are..

The window area is the least awkward part of this room, but you do need to lower the mirror so the center point is 5' above the floor. Find a nice little console table to put there if you want to do more. That may require a larger mirror or art above it though.

So now the corner where the tv was is extremely bare. And it's kinda tight to walk by to the next room ? Now don't know where to put the end table? I got the rug from home goods :)

That looks great! You could get a more narrow coffee table or use the little side tables as a coffee table so you can move the couch in towards the TV a bit so you have more walking space. Then have someone hang the tv on the wall. I just hired a handyman that did it for $50

You do need a smaller coffee table and the sofa needs to have its front feet on the rug edge. Look for a coffee table that is 1"- 3" higher than the sofa seat, no wider than 1/3 - 1/2 the length of the sofa and not any longer than 2/3 of the length between the sofa's arms. Did you try the "cat palace" in the former TV corner? Sometimes it just takes time to get used to the changes. Go ahead and lower the mirror and be sure to turn the seam in the lampshade toward the wall. The end table works fine there. You're doing a great job. Next comes some art! Perhaps you'll find a substantial piece to replace the shelf - it is a tad small and purposeless there.

I liked the tv in the corner, where it wasn't so obvious and drawing attention. If in that old spot: to right if you had a small table you could plug in a low-watt lamp and bring round mirror over to there.
The photo combo was nice, or buy Home Goods canvas art.

We did try moving the cat palace over to where the tv was but it was to tight of a walkway . An I do want to get another coffee table but my boyfriend made that a long time ago an wants to put it to use finally . ( which I don't love it for a indoor living space) :/ I think all I need is wall art or something now ..

Hi, I recently had a job with a small room and painted it mint green, I would say it really adds a lot to the room and it's modern too...

The TV was unobstrusive where it was. Now it dominates the room, plus you said it's a bit awkward walking into the room now. I would go back to the original layout but pull the couch into the room by about a foot. That would let in more light from the nice windows as well. Some suggestions for other changes:

--Add one or two blue pillows to your couch to tie in with your drapes.

--Would it be possible for your boyfriend to change out the legs of the coffee table and make it into a console table to go on the blank wall? Above it, get a large painting in tans and blues. The coffee table, as everyone has said, is too big.

--Yes, lower the mirror. In any case, it's a bit small for that wall. A long, vertical mirror would be better.

--The lonely floating shelf doesn't add much too the room. Find a floating shelf long enough for that wall. Look for some great black and white photos that you like for that wall, or blow up some interesting photos you have then mat and frame them.

--You don't necessarily need to paint the room, but do more with an accent blue color of your drapes with pillows and a painting. (Plug in "tan and blue painting" into Etsy.com. Most Etsy artists do commissions if you like their style. You could also look for a console cabinet or table at a thrift shop and paint it that same blue for the blank wall with a painting above it.

I agree that your original plan was best with the couch in front of windows facing the TV.
You could use the blank wall you had to place one or two smaller arm or armless chairs to give you more seating with a small table in between or with a console table behind them against that big wall, which would give you a place for another lamp. You have a nice room to work with.

No way ,leave the room like it is in the new location ,way more character than lining the walls

Home safety guidelines recommend placing a sofa perpendicular to a baseboard heater for heating efficiency and avoiding damage to furniture. That said, consider turning the original arrangement 90 degrees with the TV on the wall under the little shelf and the sofa on the "big blank wall" (remember to lay the rug so the front sofa legs are on the edge).

Art suggestions have been made. Find a grouping, or one large piece, to hang over the sofa. You have a few smaller pieces - mirror, shelf - that can be put together in a compact area for impact.

I agree with housegal200. Definitely find swap the throw pillows with blue ones that complement your curtains.

Is this room right off the entrance to your home? If so, I would move the TV back to its original spot and move the sofa to the large blank wall. Since the coffee table has sentimental value, I'd embrace it. The room will seem much more welcoming and the TV will no longer take center stage in this position. I'd also move the cat tree to the wall with the lone shelf so it isn't the first thing you see upon entering the room.

No, the room is off the kitchen the other door you see left to the wall with the shelf is the bedroom. An yes I do like the idea of placing possibly two chairs on the big wall with a small table in between. An placing a group of pictures on the big empty wall. Idk if I'd want to place the couch on the empty wall Cuz I'd feel like we're walking into the couch from the kitchen to the living room.
