I like your table and buffet very much. I think you need some more substantial art on th ewalls in the first and third picture, and maybe two more chairs for the table, but otherwise you've made a promising start. More things to consider looking forward are a hanging light over the table, maybe an area rug to add some subtle pattern, and maybe a window treatment.

There's the chance that your dining set is too small for a full formal dining room -- it looks ok in photo #2 but pretty small in #3 -- I think "grown ups" want to be able to seat at least 6 and preferably 8 in a pinch. Or are there leaves of some kinds at the ends?? A bit hard to make out...

Anyway, first thoughts. I like your understated (Danish?) modern style!

Is that an ironing board on one of the walls in your dining room? I think your dining room set is nice, but you need to figure out the right placement of furniture in the room. It looks like one side of the room is crowded and the other walls are empty. Maybe consider adding an are rug, placement of furniture to empty walls, and if possible, adding 2 more chairs to dining set. It looks like you can only fit four at your existing table. Is this practical? If so, then I think this is fine. If not, I think adding a larger dining set would be a good idea. Great choice of wall color and beautiful floors!

HI - I think the set is not grand enough for that size dining room. If you get something else do not buy a matched set . Mix it up for more interest .

If your table seats six, I would place the extension in it and place 2 chairs on one side, the other 2 on the other side, and buy 2 more complimentary chairs (not the same) for the head of the table. This way, your table will look more grand in the room. Also, add a complimentary area rug.
