I am currently working with my architect on the plans for a two-storey terraced house with underlying semi-basement garage which I am about to build. The terraced house if not detached. The problem is that I am unsure about the facade. I would like a combination of stone and just one colour (maybe dark brown or grey) whilst the steel for the gallery along with the aluminium for the apertures will be white (however I can do it in grey). I cannot find the perfect design and am definitely not in love with the suggested final design. I prefer a very simple facade but the architect suggested that a simple all-stone facade would be slightly boring. Stone facades in my area are new not old-like. Can anyone suggest me a new design?
