What is the plant ...

Beautiful inspirational photo! We are in the process of putting in a garden path. Could you please tell me the name of the plant with the orange blooms at the far end of the gravel path on the right side. Thank you!

The form and bark of the tree are the center of all the other beauty. I wonder what it is. The Korean maple has similar bark but a different form.

The tree is the Paper Bark Maple (Acer Griseum).

Azalea 'Gibraltar" growing in the pot or beside it? If in the pot, how long can it stay in the pot, and does it need to be brought in during a New York winter?

It's in the ground. It is hardy to zone 5 so should not be brought indoors, but keeping a shrub alive in pot is always hit or miss. It depends on the size of the pot, how much it likes the conditions you keep it in etc. Bear in mind that this azalea is deciduous.

how were you able to grow it so tall, the other pictures that I am seeing online make it look like a traditional Azalea in more of a round shape. If I can copy this shape it would work perfectly, however not sure I have that talent!
