Depends on the look you are going for. Burgundy will blend into the brick. Green of some sort is the compliment to red, so it will pop. Beigy brown is neutral so that's playing it safe. Mustard is the ultimate boldness.

I might pull out the blue grey from your brick and use a color like BM Hale Navy. It looks like your shutters are already very close to that color. Is there any reason you want to use a third color?

No reason - just wanted the door to pop and look welcoming. The whole exterior entrance to my house needs help and I wanted to start with something I could do myself first.

I would consider the color that is in your shutters and would also paint the screen door, so it blends and makes the entry feel larger. My other choice is black, which really is classic. To change up your front, as per your comments..you could easily change the mailbox and lantern to black, your address plate to something a bit larger with a black background as well.

Adding two narrow urns on either side of the door with something evergreen like the dwarf Alberta spruce in my photo above would add a nice layer and bring attention to the entrance. I agree with Maureen about replacing the light and mailbox.

Paint the front door the same as the shutter color and don't forget to paint the storm, too. That is tres important.

Paint brick a darker shade of gray. A new black storm door, new large black mail box, new large black light and new large black house numbers (individual numbers, not attached to each other). Hope this helps and good luck!
