I had toile pattern drapes in our rustic basement living room. They were washed and shrunk so I am adding a piece of fabric to the top to lengthen them. I have some gingham check on hand. What do you think of this as a border for the top of the drapes? Or should I go with a solid to match the red? (Which means a 45 minute trip to the fabric store) The red isn't exactly the same. I also have this subtle boat pattern drapery panel which I could use but not sure how the two would relate. Could not get another matching panel.
