What kind of grout?

Hi we are doing a similar color glass tile backsplash for our kitchen- yours came out beautiful!!! Can you tell me what grout to use, have you used Starglass grout (urethane) before? Is that the best kind for glass, manufacturer told us we had to use unsanded, but I'm concerned the other types won't allow the glass to expand and contract (there can be steam in the area behind stove) If ours comes out as good as yours I'm going to want it to last forever, so any help on the best grout to use would be SO appreciated thanks!

I used unsanded Custom-brand grout for this. I believe it was an antique white color if I remember correctly. I haven't used the Starglass grout that you mentioned. You do want to use an unsanded grout so that the sand won't scratch the tile while your installing it. Good luck!

What color tile is the backsplash and where was it purchased? Just had our cabinets painted Dover White and the Black Pearl granite goes in tomorrow. I love the look of this and am very interested in the back splash. Thanks!

We are using this in our bathroom but cannot find anyone who knows how to cut it and finish the edge without a shatter and rough finish. Any suggestions?

If you having problems with the exposed cut edges you might consider using a different tile to run vertically at the end of the backsplash. This will hide the cut edges. I talk about it in this post with a picture: http://inspiredremodeling.com/2013/02/12/random-mosaic-glass-tile-backsplash/.

dinadelellis - ask that question in the design dilemma category. I've had better luck with that forum. I'm in the same boat with cosmic black granite counters and med brown cabinets. I'm having the hardest time deciding on a backsplash and I am running out of time.
