One idea is black and white artwork given all the colors currently being used in the room.

The biggest wall clock you can find! Can find big ones at Homesense sometimes. But the bigger the better.

Tie all the wires behind your side table with an electrical tie to the back of one of the legs.

Your couch pillows need to be much bigger (like the white one in the corner). When they are small it looks like they belong on a bed.

Ceiling lamp must be shortened.

Would be nice to have baskets under the coffee tables to warm it up.

I bought the area rug @ Lowes home improvement.

I think a unique starburst mirror with a bit of an asian feel would be really nice and also compliment the shape of flowers in your rug. To get your room to pop you could add some orange or coral pillows and accessories.[houzz=]

Hi Brenda, I think you have a lot of beautiful color in the room currently. I think a horizontal black and white canvas would look best. Something like this, but an image that matches your passions.

Although the art that you pick has to speak to you, I could see a nice Japanese koi painting. It would work with the gold in your pillow, and the subtle Asian influence that is already there (grid of coffee table, chrysanthemum on rug).

On another note (perhaps), coral would be a great color for that room -- art plus a pillow or two...

Have you considered putting up a large mirror above the couch? It would help open the room up as well
