Consider using a black narrow strip of tiles instead of the entire wall.

You can pair almost anything with black, but I agree that black and white is a classic style that is virtually timelss, so that is one suggestion. I need to know what kind of bathroom you'd like though, modern? traditional? Rustic? Do you want a specific color paired with black? I also hope you can provide us pictures of the bathrom
