At our local hardware store they sell decorative chain (cut to any length you need). Weave the cord thru the links at say 3" apart so the chain doesn't get bent. Might have to paint the cord so it blends in. If you're able to take the pendant light with you and try right in store

The trend is just a cord, and they are always twisted up in shipping- they should wrap the cord around a big spool not ship it in a knot! The solution is to work up and down the cord with the cord worked in and out of three fingers. This will remove the 'memory' from the cord so it straightens.
