The Sienna Bordeaux is absolutely beautiful. We just did a kitchen with that stone and all stainless appliances, our clients love the space! It really brightens up the room.

The richness and depth of the Sienna Bordeaux would be lovely in your kitchen. With the white cabinets and light wood floor, the Nacarado could look washed out.

Thanks for all your comments. We have granite tiles right now and so want to move to slab.
Will the Sienna Bordeaux get too traditional or would it suit the transitional look we are going for? Any other stone you recommend that doesn't have as much going on.

I like your kitchen at it is now, but if you decide to change the counters, you are going to have to change the backsplash. Both stones you are thinking about are beautiful.

I just bought a new home and i selected white maple cabinetry and i have the quartz countertop in a shadow grey - looks grand.

@chippewa stone- thank you for your comment. I like the colors of the Sienna Bordeaux but don't like a stone with too much movement. Looking for something more subtle. What do you think about Alpinus. Do you think it would pop or blend in as well(attached). Any other stone that think will be a good match with our countertop and floors.

We apologize, due to the holidays we haven't been active on here. Perhaps you've made a decision by now. For what it's worth, the Sienna Bordeaux can lend itself to a more transitional look. A simple backsplash and larger hardware would really update things for you. The Alpinus is beautiful, and doesn't have the strong side to side movement if you're shying away from that. It won't have a strong contrast against the cabinets but would be a fresh, current look. A dark faucet and hardware would really punch things up. Again, don't get too fussy with the backsplash to stay in the more transitional vein.
