My 14 x 14 master bedroom is very dark. It has one large window, but fir trees from neighboring yards block the light and give a distinct greenish gold color cast to what little light there is in the room. I have a mix of furniture - an older rock maple bedroom set, some painted pieces, antique framed prints. I like modern accents, an overall sort of modern feel with older accents. I am having problems finding a paint color that does not look washed out, way too bright, or pick up some very greenish-gold color cast. I like greens, but have not found a shade that survives the light. Does anyone have suggestions on paint colors that might work.? I live in the Pacific Northwest. Thank you.
