I'm re-tiling the floor and shower in this bathroom. The vanity and countertop will stay. The decor throughout the condo is modern, fairly minimal. What's going out is greenish slate tile and a teak shower floor.

The tile I like so far is Daltile's Plaza Nova in Gray Fog (middle tile in the picture with 3 samples).

My initial idea is to do a minimal monotone look. I would do either 12x12 or 12x24 on the bathroom floor and 3x12 in a stacked grid pattern on the shower walls. The 3x12s would be a custom order in this specific tile, so I will keep looking at other brands. Sticking with this monotone theme, I'd do the shower floor in a similar color with 1x1 mosaic in either square or hexagons.

But I'd like to hear some other ideas that keep within the modern and minimal theme. Thanks!
