It's a process that stains the concrete. Very nice look that can also be achieved by some of today's luxury vinyl floors from either Karndean Design Flooring or Coretec Plus Flooring from US Floors.

Thanks for the question, rizzadelc85. The floors contain glass chips inlaid within the polished concrete - meant to look like terrazzo. Our team at Novell poured a specifically engineered concrete topping mix onto each floor to encase the in-floor radiant heat. We let the floors cure a little before sprinkling in the glass chips, allowing the glass to sink in a little, then the floors were ground and polished! The result is a seamless, beautifully polished clean floor with subtle imbedded colour chips, that's warm under the feet.
